The Photina fraseri is an evergreen, medium-sized shrub with new foliage that is a glistening, copper red color. It is excellent as a hedge, screen, or accent plant. It should be grown under conditions of sun.

This grass is best when kept at about 2"-2.5" high, but it has a root depth of about 6'. It is a beautiful, dark green color all year and is used in a variety of locations.

As a small perennial shrub with 2" wide, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers, blooms on this plant are seen seen almost year round. Its foliage is green in color. It is not as tolerant of coastal situations and it also seems to be more tender to frost.
